Introduction

"Before i start this, this is to inform, the information i will be sharing here is based on ancient indian philosophy named vedanta, dont confuse a religion hinduism with vedanta, hinduism is a religion wheres vedanta is ancient indian philosophy which states purushatra(objective of mankind):
dharma (order of cosmos)
kama (pleasure)
artha (tools you need to put you in desired state)
moksha (liberation/freedom from inner bondage)

There is a book from swami vivekananda which speaks about these in detail you can check them out as well i think the name of it is yoga practices, please look  that up though i am unsure, i read it almost a month ago.

The idea is to enjoy artha and kama and ultimately outgrow them to acheive moksha which is liberation or in other words breaking you inner bondage with ego or acheiving your highest consciousness, making it easy by an example: heard of gautam buddha? that is it, he acheived moksha.
whats philosophy btw? it literally means love for wisdom or love for knowledge or you can define it as a theory or an attitude that acts as a guiding principle for behaviour. While western philosophy is comprised of meta-physics, epistemology, ethics, aesthetics and so on, indian philosophy chooses to integrate all of them, indic philosophy has different school of life like: carvaka, jaina, baudhha, nyaya, vaiseka, sankhya, yoga, mimamsa and our favourite vedanta. Alright thats enough of information to handle! i would speak in detail in some of my other blog."

Thats all i needed you to know lets get deep into it:
You have heard the term spirituality very often and you might have came across to know this through the internet, we also see people who claims to be "spiritual" is it really them who is spiritual or their false consciousness speaking to them? do you consider yourself as spiritual? observe these two things in yourself:

1.for a spiritual person this blue planet is a warzone they are constantly engaging them in an activity where they learn. Please note that i emphasize the word "learn" so much here. Out of all the experiences we gain in our life-time "learning" is the best experience everything else is just an information. Not to mention they do not engage in any juvenile hedonism a life without catastrophe is a complete waste.
Taking a constant look at philosophy, psychology and neuroscience helps elevate the consciousness of the spiritual-self, but hey sagnik my domain is xyz. So what? dont tell me there is some limit to learning which you set for yourself then this reading will be a waste, you can might as-well leave half-way through, this is only for those who do not have any limit to learning and are open to put them in a challenging situation.

2.the most important thing in spirituality is self-knowledge, do you know who you are? what drives your actions and what drives your behaviour?

do we have to deal with the spirit, soul or yada yada yada inside of us? No, i am trying to set the starting scene, at this moment  i dont want to hurt your ego by saying there are no "souls" (notice i am using the word "souls" and not "soul") and that there are no "incarnations"  vedanta rejects the concept of having a soul inside of us and that it reincarnates, but it however accepts that nature reincarnates, nothing will happen if you die another person will come and so on and thereby nature keeps reincarnating and not our soul. The same humans same like you will reincarnate, comprises of lust, anger, greed, attachment, fear, pleasure, delusion, jelousy and few others. So you think you are different than others? on what basis? are you free from all of it? your life story might be long of hundreds of hours but it can be concluded within the few words presented above, (the next time you hear your friends venting you might as well conclude it with one word lol). We are into so much thinking oh i am so different my scenario is complicated all that yappings, It is what our ego looks for a, clever escapism, our ego is a majestic thing it can create pseudo illogical arguments just to beat the logical and the truth one, horrifically & ironically the illogical argument seem very real and very logical to you hard to beleive this? i know right!

let me get a straight example i am assuming people know about the story of mahabharata. I want you to imagine krishna is the highest consciousness of yourself or a version of yourself reached its highest potential and ultimate enlightment and arjuna, as your ego. Well arjuna gave a lot of serious arguable statements to not fight the battle which infact seems very logical as well for instance he says
"if i engage in this fight then what's the difference between duryodhana and me? i.e if he is taking the wrong step then why should i also take the wrong step like him (to fight)"
wow what a serious and rational statement, isnt it? and here comes the magic you cant easily find a counter-arguable statement to that as well, so that makes you think this is so rational and logical, not to mention you are fooled by your ego. Similar to that one arjuna gave a lot of pseudo logical and rational statements to krishna, he explained so much to krishna, but in the end krishna just replied arjuna with one statement "arjuna from where did you got this attachment(moh) from?" Notice how krishna didnt even answered any of arjuna's logical statement not because it wasnt arguable but because if krishna countered that statement, arjuna would find another pseudo logical statement to counter his and exactly this is how the pattern of overthinking works i will discuss that in my upcoming blogs, anyway krishna directly attacked the center, the root cause of all he ignored all of the logical yapping of arjuna and just  emphasized "attachment".

but it was so hard for arjuna to accept it that he gave all the logical arguments to krishna to not fight the battle. And also notice how i mentioned that all of the yappings can be concluded in a single word, its the same scenario here too. I get little to no time to write so i might start in deep and detail after few months about advaita vedanta (non-duality). i will also recommend some actual books to learn the indian philisophy. Take care till then! ;)

one last thing i want to add is: vedanta supports veganism, i did my own scientific research as well i am attaching the evidences you need.
